Sparking Curiosity School is fortunate to be located near a beautiful national forest, which serves as an extension of our classroom. Our students have the opportunity to explore the forest, learn about wildlife, and engage in outdoor activities. Through guided hikes, ecological studies, seasonal festivals and nature-inspired art projects, we aim to instill a sense of environmental stewardship and a deep appreciation for the natural world.
In collaboration with the local community, we maintain a vibrant community garden where students can learn about sustainable agriculture and gardening practices. We will be incorporating our harvest into our meals through natural and tradition food processing practices.
Through hands-on gardening experiences, students develop an understanding of food production, nutrition, and environmental sustainability. The community garden also provides opportunities for collaboration, teamwork, and fostering a sense of community spirit among our students.
